White Trash Party?

Has anyone ever had a white trash party?

Both Furry and I are turning 30 in the next 2 months (GASP!) and I had the bright idea to have a WT party once we're in and settled in the house.

Any feedback? Would you all come if you were invited?????

  6. I've totally been to a party like this, although we called it a "gutter party." We served saltines with squirt cheese, pinto beans straight from the can, and all brought either 40s or Bud Pounders. The hosts even had those brown "beer can bags" for everyone to put their beers in. They also had rubber rats everywhere. I think someone wore curlers. It was a ball.

  7. LOL! I just turned 30. Don't sweat it. I hid a lot for the week before and the week after.

The party sounds like fun but it sounds frighteningly like many regular parties my family had/has. It scares me that I might go to one of these parties and not know it was themed.

I need to get out more.

  9. there is a radio personality here that does a white trash party here every year. all it is is lots and lots of alcohol, loud WT music and everyone wearing wife beater shirts and getting on each other. ;) hahah SOOO many people go to that party every year!

  10. I had a WT party a few years ago and it was my most successful theme party ever! Just like Liz, we told people to bring their own 40's but we also had super cheap beer in ice tubs. Don't forget the ho ho's and twinkies, crackers with cheese whiz, and of course the honky tonk music!

  11. That sounds like way too much fun! it's really scary when all the "cheese" begins to sound like your extended family's everyday life. Eep.

  12. Years ago around 1999/2000 someone gave me a White Trash Cookbook I & II---yes there were enough recipes for 2 books, I would send you mine but I gave it to one of those half-priced book stores....there were some nasty recipes, like squirrel stew, poussoum pie & stuff like that but they also had some recipes you could use. The pics in there were hilarious, they had real white trash people at their backyard BBQ's & one even had a pic of a pig roast, nasty!
